Job Description
Position: Medical Records Clerk
Location: 5787 OH-63 Lebanon, OH 45036
Duration: 6 Months (High chance of extension)
Schedule: Mon–Fri, between 7:00am-3:00pm
Note: Position is based in a correctional facility. No weekends or holidays.
Job SummarySeeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to manage, organize, and maintain medical records within a correctional facility. This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile, review, and organize medical reports and charts for completeness.
- Prepare charts for new admissions and complete required forms.
- Enter and maintain data, logs, and statistical reports (daily/monthly census, admissions, discharges, Medicaid days).
- File, retrieve, and manage electronic and paper health records.
- Coordinate with internal departments and provide records information as appropriate.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and health information practices.
- Experience with records management, typing, and document accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
