Custodian

We are currently recruiting for a Custodian to join our team!

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work in a climate-controlled environment within a steadily growing organization. The Custodian is responsible for ensuring that the plant, office areas, and exterior property grounds are continuously cleaned and maintained to uphold a pristine facility. This is a critical role, and our ideal candidate will take great pride in their work while operating with a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Restock washroom supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
• Sanitize and clean entire bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and mirrors.
• Empty garbage cans from the kitchen, restrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.
• Mop front office and reception areas, along with other areas as needed.
• Maintain the break room daily, including weekly cleaning of the refrigerator.
• Dry mop storage rooms and production areas throughout the facility.
• Inspect the exterior property daily for issues, including cleaning and trash removal.
• Take weekly inventory of cleaning and bathroom supplies and submit to designated personnel.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of previous experience as a custodian in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Must be able to stand regularly and walk frequently.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.
