As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will be a vital member of an A/E/C team, helping to design public infrastructure and commercial projects that are being constructed to better our communities. Geotechnical Project Manager
As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will be a vital member of an A/E/C team, helping to design public infrastructure and commercial projects that are being constructed to better our communities. Your role will be to ensure that geotechnical design on projects like highways and streets, buildings, sewer lines and dams, meet engineering standards and provide maximum benefit to the project.
What You Do
- Manage and conduct subsurface investigations for transportation, commercial, industrial and municipal projects.
- Provide shallow and deep foundation recommendations, retaining wall design, slope stability analyses and pavement evaluation.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
- Train and mentoring staff engineers.
- Oversee drilling and laboratory testing services at the project level.
- Work closely with the geotechnical team to meet client expectations and project timelines.
- Work on a broad range of high-profile commercial projects with clients such as local municipalities, universities and colleges, private industries, DOTs, etc.
- 10 to 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Indiana based geotechnical experience including knowledge of ODOT specifications.
- Indiana Professional Engineer strongly preferred.
- BSCE; MSCE with concentration in geotechnical engineering preferred.
