Press Room Supervisor

Position Summary:
Oversee the Press Room to ensure production of the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost while meeting company performance standards, customer specifications, and delivery requirements. The Press Room Supervisor will provide hands-on leadership, maintain consistent communication, and help prevent production and quality issues.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a working supervisor of the pressroom crew, assigning and directing work while actively working in an assigned job position.
• Prioritize and delegate work assignments and directly supervise pressroom staff to ensure production of high-quality products while meeting performance standards, customer specifications, and delivery requirements.
• Train new and existing employees on the processes and methods required to achieve company standards for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Ensure completion of all required records, paperwork, and documentation.
• Follow all company regulations, policies, work procedures, security procedures, instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the area of responsibility.
• Perform all duties in accordance with established safety policies.
• Be able to cover other positions within the department during vacations or employee absences.
• Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness standards are maintained within the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade or vocational school preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• 5–7 years of First Pressman and/or pressroom supervisory experience required.
• Hands-on experience with printing press operations.
• Knowledge of color theory and prepress processes.
• Previous experience leading, training, and supervising pressroom employees.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• Forklift Certification (Required)
