Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- General Ledger
- Bank Reconciliations
- Fixed Assets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and company financial policies
- Coordinate with external CPA firms, auditors, and tax professionals
- Develop and improve internal accounting controls and procedures
- Assist executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic planning
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support operational teams with cost tracking and reporting
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with all financial records
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5 years of accounting or financial management experience
- Prior Controller or senior-level accounting experience preferred
- Oil & gas, industrial, manufacturing, or service industry experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
