Shipping Clerk

Position: Shipping Clerk
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible hours available)
Pay Rate: $17.25 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk for a 1-month assignment. This role is responsible for coordinating and processing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with both domestic and international shipping requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and schedule shipments using carriers such as FedEx, DHL, and other logistics providers
• Verify shipment contents against packing lists, invoices, and bills of lading to ensure accuracy
• Pack, label, and ship finished goods in a safe and efficient manner
• Generate and maintain shipping documentation for both domestic and international orders
• Update inventory systems and maintain accurate shipping records
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers to resolve shipping issues

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of shipping experience, including domestic and international shipments
• Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory or shipping software
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Forklift experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 15–60 lbs as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
