What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partnership Director position at Resource Area for Teaching?
RAFT is growing fast, and we’re looking for a Partnership Director to expand our impact in hands-on STEAM education across the Bay Area.
This is a relationship-driven role at the intersection of business development, strategic growth, and education. You’ll open doors with districts, schools, and county offices of education connecting them to RAFT’s powerful hands-on programming, from summer camps to curriculum.

What You’ll Do
- Build and grow partnerships with districts and schools
- Lead outreach, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Manage relationships and ensure high-quality delivery
- Collaborate with funders and the RAFT Development Team
What We’re Looking For
- Deep knowledge of K–12 education in the South Bay
- 5 years in teaching or school administration
- Strong network-building and partnership skills
- Bachelor’s degree
