What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Clerk position at Resorts World Miami Hilton?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verification and acceptance of all incoming goods in respect of volume and quantity.
- Ensures that all receiving reports inclusive of food, non-food and beverage are done daily and on a timely basis.
- Perform cycle counts
- Carry out monthly inventories with Controlling; ensure orderliness and cleanliness in her/his area of responsibility
- Verify the accuracy and accept all purchased products into the hotel
- Assist in the daily operation of the storeroom to include, but not limited to, receiving and placing product, reconciling received items to purchase orders to verify accuracy, rotating stock, conducting inventory and issuing and delivering items to departments
- Ensure tidiness and cleanliness in her/his area of responsibility
- Ensure FIFO is followed for all transactions
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations regarding storage, safety and sanitation
- Any others duties requested by supervisor/management

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred but not necessary
- Previous receiving experience with stock control responsibility
- 1 year of recent experience as a Warehouse Clerk
- Strong communication skills
- MUST be able to work on your feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
- Dependable and on-time for your scheduled shift
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Able to work at a fast-pace
