What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collection Specialist - Resort Recovery Solutions San Diego On-Site position at RESORT RECOVERY SOLUTIONS LLC?
Resort Recovery Solutions is a licensed third-party collection agency serving the timeshare and HOA industry. We’re hiring Collections Representatives who can resolve accounts professionally and respectfully. Full paid training provided.
What you’ll do
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with consumers about their accounts
- Explain account details and set up payoffs, settlements, and payment plans within company guidelines
- Document every contact accurately in our system
- Send approved letters, emails, and required documentation
- Leave voicemails and follow up consistently
- Process outgoing mail
- Other duties as assigned
What we’re looking for
- Strong verbal and written communication; calm and professional under pressure
- Accuracy and integrity in documentation
- Basic computer skills; comfortable in a high-volume call environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Collections experience or FDCPA/Rosenthal knowledge a plus; we train on all federal and California collection laws
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
