Duties
- Sort, classify, and process scrap metals according to type, size, and quality standards
- Assist with processing/dismantling tasks by preparing materials for disparture or storage
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety standards and ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Load and unload all customers and trucks
Skills
- Yard Laborer /General laborer to sort, move, and unload scrap in a recycling yard.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting 50 pounds and working in varying weather conditions.
- Skills: Ability to identify types of metal (ferrous vs. non-ferrous), basic maintenance skills, and strong communication skills.
