Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Composite Technician to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. We are seeking a Composite Technician to be involved in the full product lifecycle—from prototype development through production and field testing—while building hands-on experience in advanced composite fabrication.
The selected Composite Technician will support the fabrication of next-generation composite structures and will have responsibility for the following areas:

Duties And Responsibilities
We are seeking a Composite Technician to be involved in the full product lifecycle—from prototype development through production and field testing—while building hands-on experience in advanced composite fabrication.
The selected Composite Technician will support the fabrication of next-generation composite structures and will have responsibility for the following areas:
- Fabricate composite components/tools, which may include bond prep, tool prep, mold release application, ply kit generation, lamination, vacuum bagging, de-molding, trimming, finishing, core fabrication, composite repairs, and bond work.
- Operate handheld tools. (e.g.) scissors, razor knives, grinders, drills, sanders, cutting wheels, saws, routers, ect.
- Manage perishable materials, ensuring proper handling, traceability, and adherence to expiration/out-time requirements.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to complete production tasks.
- Follow technical instructions, specifications, and safety.
- Assist in the development of processes to meet quality and performance standards
- Procedures.
- Support production schedules and adapt to changing priorities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Work in both FOD critical and FOD sensitive environments and observe all related safety procedures.
- Work efficiently in an environment without the need for regular, direct oversight.
- Operate autoclaves, ovens, and other production equipment.
- Ability to run laser projection equipment designed for composite layup.
- Complete and maintain required job-specific qualifications.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in aerospace composite manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly.
- Hands-on experience with composite layup, assembly or tooling.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; familiarity with Costpoint is a plus).
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Ability to perform moderately strenuous, repetitive physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting to 50 lbs.
- Prior military experience preferred.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
- Experience working in an FAA Part 145 repair station environment preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required. Active clearance preferred.
