- Job Purpose
Directs the overall Quality Department and Regulatory Compliance Activities.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Directly oversees and monitors all activities related to IATF16949 requirements. Implements necessary systems, procedures, training and outside consulting to assure the company continues to comply with all Regulatory Standards.
- Establishes an effective organization within the Quality Department to assure that all Resonac products and standards comply with customer and management expectations. These include, but not limited to the following:
- Reacts to all customer issues and implements a root cause / countermeasure team to effectively resolve any problem and work with other departments to implement corrective action to prevent recurrence.
- Assures all Quality Standards, measuring techniques and process capability is established for all PPAP submissions and new product launches.
- Is the Quality Representative for APQP and all related issues.
- Develop/Maintain a quality information system that effectively communicates/reports to all associates the quality performance/status for the company and each Department.
- Create/Maintain an inspection system for in-process products, finish goods product, raw material and incoming/outgoing vendor products/processes. This includes the gage calibration system.
- Continuously working with other departments to assure Quality Improvement is a high priority and a focal point for VA/VE activities.
- Provides training to other departments to assure all associates, who are required to conduct measurements/inspecting to Resonac products, are qualified to utilize the proper measuring equipment and understand the PDS and/or any other inspection documents required to assure all Resonac products are in specification.
- Train and mentor Quality Engineers, Technicians and Inspectors.
- Conduct off-site quality system surveys with the Purchasing Department of our suppliers and subcontractors. Ensures that follow-up corrective action is addressed, implemented and is effective.
- Controls all expenses, overtime, temporaries, manpower and capital investment budgets and issues necessary to documents to request these items.
- Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a management position.
- Preferred Education and Experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Prior experience working in automotive supplier manufacturing.

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
