Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our innovative team. Duties

• Develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization.
• Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes.
• Identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve.
• Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials.
• May act as a knowledge resource and guide for less experienced engineers.
• May work on processes for new or more complex products.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Proven experience in manufacturing process engineering within a production environment or manufacturing facility.
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• Powdered metal experience preferred.
• Experience in automotive and/or manufacturing

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer and application skills (Microsoft Office Suite & CAD Software)
• Excellent project management and time prioritization skills with the ability to lead project teams.
• Must have strong decision-making abilities.
• Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues.
• Understanding of machining, geometric tolerances, and strength of materials.
