A Day in the Life

You’ll start your shift with a quick handoff from the previous team, review work orders, and prioritize critical equipment. Early on, you might diagnose a PLC‑controlled conveyor line showing intermittent faults, then swap to a gearbox inspection on a press. Midday brings scheduled preventive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic circuits—filter changes, leak checks, and sensor verifications—followed by documenting findings and parts used. Later, you’ll support a new equipment installation, reading electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints to verify connections. Throughout the day, you’ll keep safety at the forefront while collaborating with production and engineering to minimize downtime.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical production equipment
• Diagnose motors, drives, PLC‑controlled systems, and production machinery
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Execute preventive maintenance and perform routine inspections
• Assist with installing and commissioning new or upgraded equipment
• Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Complete accurate maintenance documentation and work orders
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies

What You Bring

• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
• Working knowledge of electrical systems from 24 VDC up to 480V 3‑phase
• Hands‑on experience with conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (preferred)
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Strong mechanical aptitude and solid problem‑solving skills
• Commitment to safety and teamwork

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, and work in industrial conditions
• Work at heights or in confined spaces as required
