What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Forklift Operator (3rd Shift - 10:30pm-7:00am) position at Resonac Powdered Metals America, Inc.?
Job Purpose
Processes and reports the accurate movement of materials into/from the multiple warehouse locations (finished product, packaging, supplies, etc.).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, locate and record the movement of finished product into the FG Warehouse.
- Deliver and record finished product and packaging materials to the pack room tables.
- Load/unload trucks as needed to support Shipping/Receiving Clerks
- Test (Daily PM) and maintain all forklift and pallet jack equipment.
- Perform designated 6S activities as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 to 2 years of verifiable forklift driving experience
Competencies
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment.
- Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.
Working Conditions
- This job operates primarily in a warehouse setting and manufacturing floor.
- Incumbents are subject to high temperatures (up to 115°), loud noises, and dirty working conditions for long periods of time.
Physical Requirements
- Repetitive motion is required when loading/unloading trucks, packing/prepping/wrapping shipments.
- Ability to stand and drive forklift for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 25-35lbs, standing, walking, bending, stretching, and use of hands to feel, touch, or handle objects.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
