What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer position at ResolveGrid AI?
ResolveGrid is an agentic AI platform for field service intelligence. We help enterprises support their field technicians with AI-guided workflows, computer vision, AR video calls, and live expert assistance. Spun out of Xerox, we are building the technician intelligence layer for field-service-heavy industries.
We move fast, and this is a ground-floor engineering seat with a clear path to grow as we do.
The RoleYou will build and ship product across our agentic AI platform. You will work across the stack, take features from design through deploy, and put your code in the hands of real enterprise field technicians. This is a build-and-own role on a small team, so the surface area is wide and the impact is immediate.
You will work directly with the founder and CEO and senior engineers, and what you ship moves the product forward week to week.
What You’ll Do• Build and ship features across the stack, from frontend and APIs to backend services, that bring agentic AI to field technicians
• Work with LLMs, computer vision, and agentic workflows in production, not just in prototypes
• Own features end to end, from design through deploy and iteration
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and review your teammates’ work
• Debug real issues from real enterprise deployments and ship fixes fast
• Partner with product to turn rough specs into working software
What We’re Looking For• BS in Computer Science or equivalent is required
• 1 to 2 years of professional software development experience
• Solid foundation in a modern language and framework (TypeScript and JavaScript, Node.js, React, or Python)
• Builder mentality: you ship, you learn, you iterate, and you sweat the details
• Comfortable across the stack and eager to own features end to end
• Genuine curiosity about AI and how to build real products on top of it
• Strong communication; you work tightly with a small, fast team
Bonus Points• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, computer vision, or agentic systems
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to enterprise SaaS or field-service software
• Open-source contributions or side projects you are proud of

Compensation: Base $85k-$110k · Meaningful early-stage equity · On-site or hybrid in Irvine, CA
