Key Responsibilities
- Support in developing, coordinating, and delivering compliance training across the organization
- Assist with regulatory audits, policy development, and communication of new or revised regulations
- Support internal audits
- Prepare documentation for external audits
- Identify potential compliance risks and contributes to the development of corrective action plans
- Ensure timely reporting to regulatory bodies
- Manage MIPS collection and reporting
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and support the execution of the auditing and monitoring workplan
- Prepare and distribute compliance reports and contribute to the monthly newsletter
- Manage third-party risk/vendor management processes and assist with radiation and OSHA requirements
- Collaborate with HR, IT, RCM, and other departments on compliance initiatives
- Uphold confidentiality and safeguard all compliance-related documents and communications
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree; legal or healthcare-related field preferred
- 4 years of progressive healthcare compliance experience
- Experience with internal audit and reviews
- Certification (CHC or CHPC) preferred; willingness to obtain certification within 12 months required
- Have an understanding of the OIG compliance program guidance
- Experience working closely with medical providers
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain strict confidentiality
