Floor Technician - Healthcare

Resolve Diamondback is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our Housekeeping team in Phoenix, AZ. The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of facility flooring throughout the building. This position plays a critical role in creating a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Schedule

• 1:00 PM - 9:30PM (8 hour shifts)
• Full-time availability, some weekends and some holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, polishing, and scrubbing floors.
• Maintain VCT, tile, laminate, and other hard-surface flooring throughout the facility.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean assigned areas according to established schedules.
• Clean and sanitize common areas, hallways, resident rooms, and other facility spaces as needed.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety standards at all times.
• Remove trash and dispose of waste according to facility guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in good working condition.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and emergency cleaning situations as assigned.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of floor care or housekeeping experience in a healthcare, long-term care, hospital, or similar environment preferred.
• Experience with floor machines, buffers, burnishers, and auto scrubbers preferred.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Dependable and flexible with scheduling
• Good communication and customer service skills

Requirements

• Active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
• Current BLS or CPR Certification (Required)
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping and floor care equipment.
