- Draft, review, proofread, and transcribe legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Manage legal case files and documents efficiently using document management systems like Clio
- Assist attorneys with client interviews by preparing questions, organizing information, and documenting details accurately
- Support litigation processes through document review, case organization, and preparation for court proceedings
- Maintain organized records of filings, court deadlines, and case updates while ensuring compliance with legal standards
- Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and supporting overall office operations
Requirements
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in legal research and case management across various practice areas such as estate planning, probate, and real estate law
- Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis; experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Familiarity with legal administrative tools such as Clio; excellent organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents; meticulous proofreading and transcription abilities
- Ability to conduct interviews effectively while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent clerical skills including data entry, filing procedures, phone etiquette, and organizational tasks within a busy law office environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information discreetly with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
