Parts Administrator

Fleet Parts Clerk – Southaven, TN

We are seeking an organized and dependable Parts Clerk with inventory experience in a fleet maintenance, diesel, trucking, heavy-equipment, or automotive environment.

In this role, you will help keep the maintenance shop running efficiently by ensuring technicians have the correct parts and supplies when they need them. The ideal candidate understands parts-room operations, inventory control, and the urgency of supporting a busy fleet maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming parts and supplies
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and organized storage areas
• Issue parts to technicians and document usage correctly
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder commonly used items
• Research and locate parts using catalogs, vendor systems, and equipment information
• Process purchase orders, invoices, returns, warranties, and core exchanges
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery
• Assist with cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records within the company’s inventory or maintenance system
• Help ensure the shop has the parts needed to minimize equipment downtime

Qualifications:

• Previous parts and inventory experience is required
• Fleet maintenance, diesel, trucking, heavy-equipment, or automotive parts experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to identify or research parts using unit information, VINs, serial numbers, and equipment details
• Comfortable using inventory-management systems and basic computer programs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, managers, and vendors
• Able to lift and move parts and supplies as needed
• Dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in an active shop environment

Location: Southaven, Tennessee
Schedule: Full-time
