As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring our computer systems, networks, and copier and printer equipment are operating at peak performance. Travling from clients location to location. You will also handle all IT support requests and assist colleagues with their IT needs. Your role is vital to the smooth operation of our company and allowing us to reach our business goals. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills as well as excellent customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities Maintain copier and printer hardware in working orderSet up employee workstations (computers, printers, routers, etc)Install and configure software and firewareTrain colleagues in best practices in technology and how to use software and equipmentAssess security risks and ensure the security of networks and computer systemsMaintain optimized local networkQualificationsA bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferredPrevious experience as an IT Technician or an IT Certification is preferredStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to work well as part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of data privacy and security
