We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Framingham, MA (on-site).
This job is in the United States and only candidates eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Support
the replacement of legacy Building Management Systems (BMS) across
manufacturing facilities.
- Assist
throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, vendor
procurement, engineering review, field execution, and final commissioning.
- Prepare
and manage BMS Replacement Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to support vendor
selection processes.
- Develop
and maintain BMS replacement execution plans.
- Conduct
and support in-field audits to evaluate existing infrastructure and
project readiness.
- Review
BMS integrator technical submittals to ensure compliance with engineering
and company standards, including: Functional Specifications (FS), Instrumentation
& Control (I&C) packages, Input/Output (I/O) lists
- Support
hardware cutover activities and system implementation.
- Witness
and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests
(SAT).
- Troubleshoot
Ignition SCADA and PLC systems as required.
- Manage
SAT punch lists through resolution and project closeout.
Qualifications:
- Experience
with Building Management Systems (BMS) in pharma manufacturing or
industrial environments.
- Knowledge
of BMS replacement projects, commissioning, and system integration.
- Experience
preparing or supporting RFP/RFQ documentation and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity
with Functional Specifications (FS), Instrumentation & Control
(I&C) documentation, and I/O lists.
- Working
knowledge of Ignition SCADA and PLC troubleshooting.
- Experience
supporting FAT/SAT activities and hardware cutovers.
- Strong
project coordination and technical review skills.
- Ability
to work collaboratively with engineering teams, vendors, and field
personnel.
