After School and Summer Camp Director

Hours: 1:30pm - 6:15pm Monday - Friday during school year.

Select camp days (school holidays teacher work days) throughout the school year are 9 am - 6 pm. Closed on all major holidays.

Full time hours available during select weeks during the summer.

More hours may be available during the school year to a candidate who also has strong administrative and organizational skills.

Skills:

✅Enjoys working with children.

✅A friendly smile with the ability to greet everyone that enters and exits our facility.

✅Effective management of elementary and middle school children. Ensuring they have snack and drink upon arrival daily, rotating them according to schedule between centers and homework.

✅Ensure students are dressed and ready for their Karate class on time.

✅Ability to run organized P. E. style games.

✅Comfortable reinforcing character traits such as respect, confidence, self discipline and integrity as taught in our Karate program.

✅Ability to resolve conflict between children.

✅Experience and ability to effectively communicate with parents.

✅Maintain a clean, sanitary, attractive and well-organized classroom including, but not limited to:

• Taking out trash
• Vacuuming and sanitizing/mopping
• Windows
• Bathrooms
• Stocking snacks and drinks
• Keeping up to date records
• Requirements:
• Experience working with groups of children
• Flexible and energetic on the job
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Martial Arts experience is a plus but not necessary
• Reliable transportation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
