Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, trim carpentry, siding, light drywall, drywall installation using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints is a plus
- Demolition work
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, and hardware with precision and care
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols on-site
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and organizing materials for efficient workflow
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or related fields such as carpentry, remodeling, or manufacturing industries
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws)
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting
- Familiarity with safety standards related to construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques
- must be fluent in English
- must have License and Vehicle
- Knowing how to plumb is a plus
