What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Development Engineer position at Resodyn Corporation?
Process Development Engineer
Role summary
Resodyn is hiring a motivated Process Development Engineer to support internal R&D programs focused on advancing our innovative mixing technology platform, as well as client materials mixing and mix performance testing. This role is hands-on and laboratory-centered, with a strong emphasis on building the experimental and analytical knowledge base that underpins an exciting, rapidly progressing, and innovative product offering. The successful candidate will join our dynamic Process Development team which translates real-world customer problems into practical solutions by developing, validating, and documenting robust processes that can be executed reliably in the laboratory, at pilot scale, and ultimately in customer operations.
Key responsibilities
The Process Development Engineer will execute laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to support internal technology development, including mixing-driven unit operations and related process development work. The role requires disciplined experimental execution, high-quality documentation, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment setups and process behavior efficiently. The engineer will perform routine analytical measurements, manage and organize experimental datasets, and summarize results in clear technical writeups that connect observations to actionable next steps.
The role will work cross-functionally with engineers from multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, controls, and chemical) as well as with operations and materials functions to ensure test readiness, safe execution, and timely progress against defined work plans. The engineer will also contribute to lab readiness and safe operations by following SOPs, maintaining good housekeeping, and supporting chemical inventory, SDS organization, and related HSE tasks as assigned.
The candidate will have the opportunity to periodically present work in a team setting and to customers, clients, government organizations and collaborators.
