Schedule:
Saturday and/or Sunday: 11:00am to 7:00pm (hours may vary slightly)
Weekday hours may be available on occasion

Description:
We are looking for a Direct Support Professional in Nicholasville, KY to provide Personal Assistance (PA) services for a young adult male with special needs. There are actually two brothers that both receive services, but you will only work with one at a time. Hours are available for both, and each brother will have their own caregiver.
Personal Assistance enables someone to accomplish tasks with assistance that they cannot do independently due to their disability. Personal Assistance tasks include, but are not limited to: assistance with everyday tasks such as getting dressed/undressed, teeth brushing, bathing, grooming, preparing meals, eating, toileting, observing, guiding or training during various activities; assistance in medication administration; and transportation to access community services, activities and appointments.
Employees will be required to pass a background check pre-hire, complete yearly TB screenings, complete an online training, and submit other various documents to remain eligible as per Medicaid guidelines.
The hourly pay rate is $26.50. Overnight respite hours are available as well, and respite pays at $21.15 an hour.
