Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Build roofing and siding replacement projects by reviewing contracts, scopes, photos, and material lists to define expected durations and determine appropriate work crew
- Build contracted repairs, time and materials, and manufacturer warranty projects by reviewing contracts and scopes
- Oversee all aspects of solar projects, including plan sets and coordinating vendor communications
- Create work order packets
- Obtain permits and track associated costs
- Distribution & Inventory Management
- Order materials and log initial material costs
- Adjust material orders to optimize inventory usage
- Track and audit material shortages and material additions
- Coordinate all material deliveries
- Maintain and manage inventory software
- Audit vendor invoices and returns for accuracy
- Submit applicable material lists
- Scheduling & Logistics
- Dispatch for field needs inclusive of equipment coordination and material delivery
- Handle customer communication and scheduling for all projects
- Determine lead times
- Fleet & Equipment Management
- Manage fleet software and GPS
- Oversee fleet maintenance
- Conduct monthly fleet inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and legal compliance
- Ensure all assigned vehicles have current required documents
- Utilize GPS tracking to increase logistical efficiency
- Problem Management
- Monitor all applicable reports and measurements
- Identify and resolve any project-related issues promptly to avoid delays
- Implement contingency plans as needed to address unexpected challenges
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at one-time throughout the day
- Self-disciplined to create blocked calendar of daily schedule and strictly adhere to deadlines
- Ability to speak articulately, and in a compelling manner
- Knowledge of relevant software applications, including MS Office
- Availability Monday thru Saturday
