The Inventory Coordinator/Driver is a critical member of the Inventory Control Team. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for counting finished goods inventory, at ground and elevated levels in the warehouse. This function serves as both a measure and corrective action for maintaining high inventory record accuracy (99%).
- Use RF gun/scanner to input data into Warehouse Management System.
- Accurately count and verify quantities.
- Operate Forklift, reach lift, and/or stock picker to execute core function of the job.
- Assist in product rotation and retrieval for consolidation to minimize storage needs.
- Works effectively both independently and as a team member.
- Be aware of surroundings for possible safety hazards and alert co-workers and supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months experience using inventory scanning Radio Frequency (RF) equipment preferable.
- Forklift, reach lift, and/or stock picker experience required.
- Basic counting and math skills required (able to count accurately as well as add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words.
- Basic clerical skills required (reading, writing, typing and spelling).
- This position works in an operations/warehouse environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
