Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in McLean, VA, responsible for driving growth across mortgage and insurance technology clients. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing a pipeline of prospects, and leading end-to-end sales cycles for Reslt AI’s solutions, including test automation, LLM assurance, governance readiness, and data exchange products. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to shape value propositions, prepare proposals, and deliver client presentations and demos. Day-to-day activities include building relationships with key stakeholders, attending industry events, gathering market feedback, and contributing to go-to-market strategies and revenue forecasts. The role also requires maintaining accurate CRM records and following a structured, consultative sales process.
Qualifications
- Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and closing complex B2B deals.
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience with mortgage, insurance, and financial services technology, including concepts such as MISMO standards, governance, and compliance.
- Ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate client needs into solution proposals and tailored demos.
- Comfort working with AI, software testing, and data-driven products, and willingness to learn Reslt AI’s offerings in depth.
- Excellent organizational skills, including use of CRM tools, forecasting, and reporting to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a business development, account executive, or similar role in SaaS or enterprise technology is strongly preferred.
