JOB DESCRIPTION: The Regional Sales Manager-Midwest is responsible for managing and growing the Residential filter and resin business within a defined sales territory according to the ResinTech Corp business plan. The RSM has overall responsibility to plan and carry out day-to-day sales related activities for their respective territory. The Representative is responsible for managing related channels to market to maintain and grow the sales of targeted ResinTech Corp products. This position reports to the Director of Residential Sales.
Primary Responsibility
Develop a territory plan with management to Achieve Sales Targets developed by company management.
Drive Sales: develop new relationships and maintain existing accounts and sales channels through regular communication via phone, email and onsite visits. Provide quotations, support and follow through for ResinTech Corp products.
Responsible for market access/channel development (OEM, distribution, and dealer networks) develop, manage, and grow existing and new accounts. Provide direction, feedback, and support to respective channels and coordinate related business requirements within internal departments.
Provide technical support, training and advice on all Residential products and applications.
Document, track and enter sales activity within the CRM. Provide a monthly activity and a trip summary report to your manager. Communicate regularly and proactively with management as to progress, trends, and potential problems/issues.
Expected travel Avg. 50%. Manage sales trips and activity to accomplish responsibilities and objectives effectively and efficiently.
Secondary Responsibility
Provide direct input to marketing activities supporting the territory and segment.
Help research and promote new product acquisitions and channel partnerships.
As needed, provide input or write technical articles, press releases or marketing materials.
Communicate and cooperate with varied departments and entities within the organization.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Proven sales record or related experience 3- 5 years: Technical degree and related experience in the water industry is preferred. WQA Prof. Certification a Plus.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the in the industry and technology and through ongoing educational certification process and/or association memberships. This may include 3rd party training.
Should have excellent “people skills”, written, communication and presentation skills.
Should have proficient computer skills/knowledge of general MS Office and CRM software.
Must be able to work independently and be an organized self-starter.
work environment
Travel Avg. 50%, customer visits, trade shows etc.. Home office prospecting and follow-up when not traveling.
Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
