JOB DESCRIPTION: Employee shall be responsible for the daily operation of the wastewater treatment process, ongoing regenerations and permit compliance.
Primary Responsibility
- In Tank Regenerations
- Wastewater Treatment - Physical/Chemical Precipitation
- Filter Press Operation and maintenance
- Wastewater Metals Analysis (Lab)
- Responsible for Water discharge Compliance
- Chemical Inventory Control (Bulk and Drum)
- Process improvement
Secondary Responsibility
- Bulk Resin Regeneration
- General Plant Maintenance
- Loading and Unloading Trucks
- All other tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years Industrial Chemical operating experience or chemistry degree
- Valid driver’s license with no outstanding issues
- Shift Flexibility
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be able to use hand tools
work environment
Required to work in a standing position to complete the daily work and work in a wet and damp environment some time in the laboratory.
Salary : $22 - $28
