What are the responsibilities and job description for the Energy Auditor position at Resilient Buildings Group, Inc.?
Formed in 2013, Resilient Buildings Group (RBG) works to improve the energy efficiency and resiliency of New Hampshire’s building stock. To do so, we work in partnership with rate payer energy efficiency programs, installation contractors, and building owners. The Energy Auditor position will be responsible for conducting energy audits on both residential and commercial buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct BPI level energy audits of residential, multi-family, and commercial buildings.
- Document data collected onsite thoroughly with notes and photos.
- Identify potential health and safety hazards found onsite
- Develop cost effective energy efficiency measures using utility approved modeling software.
- Produce proposals to customers for weatherization projects in a timely manner.
- Track customer communications and project statuses daily in company CRM system, ensuring any necessary follow-up.
- Network externally to build relationships with clients and contractors
- Report to the job site/office on time, alert, on a daily basis.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
Qualifications
- Proficiency using a CRM system
- Prior building or trades experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in energy auditing or related field
- Prior energy modeling experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of Energy Efficiency and Energy Management preferred, but not required
