Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our team. As the Nursing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your leadership and expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans
- Monitor and assess patient outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as necessary
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and medical histories
- Review and analyze medical records for quality assurance purposes
- Stay up to date with advancements in nursing practices and technologies
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in complex patient cases
- Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the nursing department
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (master's degree preferred)
- Valid nursing license in the state of Texas. Having a compact license or the ability to practice in multiple states without limitation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing leadership roles
- Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and acute care practices
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Proven experience in home care or related healthcare settings
- Excellent documentation review skills
- Ability to effectively manage a large team of nurses
- Proficient in medical record management systems
