As a Resident Hair Specialist, you will provide personalized hair services in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment, specializing in styles and techniques that flatter mature hair. The role is about more than just hair - it's about building meaningful connections and providing a valuable service that enhances our resident's well-being and confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough consultations, haircuts, styling, chemical services and other hair services tailored to the needs of the communities' residents.
- Educate residents on best hair care practices.
- Offer a gentle and patient service, considering mobility and needs.
- Build rapport and maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor with the community.
- Stay up to date on trends and techniques suitable for mature hair: traditional perms, roller sets, teasing, and more.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Cosmetology License is required.
- Must be licensed for at least 3 years.
- Experience working with senior clients is preferred but not required.
- Applicants must possess strong foundational skills in cutting and styling.
