Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Relief Door Staff to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of our residents, guests, and staff. In this role, you will provide support at entry points, manage access control, and respond promptly to various situations with professionalism. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment while maintaining high standards of security and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the property, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Greet residents, guests, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with package delivery procedures, documentation, and resident notifications.
• Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information and assistance.
• Assist residents with unloading their vehicles and transporting items to/from their unit.
• Maintain a clear and organized workspace.

Experience

• Preferred, but not required, previous experience working in customer service, hospitality, or service-related industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using technology and capable of troubleshooting basic issues independently.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in fast-paced situations.
• Reliable, punctual, and ability to work independently.

All Door Staff positions are represented by SEIU Local 1. Union membership is required as a condition of employment and may be obtained upon hire.
