We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to help maintain our facility, equipment, and grounds. This is a great opportunity for someone with general building maintenance experience who is comfortable handling a variety of repairs and preventive maintenance projects.
The ideal candidate has experience with general building maintenance, basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, painting, appliance repair, and preventive maintenance. Additional HVAC or mechanical experience is a plus but is not required unless otherwise specified.
What You'll Do
- Perform general building repairs and routine maintenance
- Complete basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs
- Repair fixtures, furniture, flooring, wall coverings, and appliances
- Perform painting, patching, and facility improvement projects
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance
- Assist with minor equipment and building-system repairs
- Maintain facility grounds and parking areas
- Assist with snow and ice removal as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
- Assist with HVAC, pumps, motors, water systems, electrical systems, and emergency generators when qualified
- Respond to maintenance requests and help ensure the facility remains safe and well maintained
What We're Looking For
- Previous building, facilities, property, or general maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot routine maintenance issues
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with facility maintenance
- HVAC, electrical, or other trade experience is a plus
