- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations with a variety of hot and cold items, ensuring freshness and presentation appeal
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing fruits, assembling breakfast plates, and maintaining food quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including counters, tables, and equipment in accordance with food safety regulations
- Replenish buffet items promptly to ensure guests always have access to fresh offerings
- Engage with guests courteously, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage food handling procedures carefully to meet health department standards
- Clear and buss tables efficiently during breakfast service to keep the area tidy
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for any guest transactions or meal purchases
- Support catering or banquet setups when needed, assisting with larger group breakfasts or special events
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and front desk teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly desirable, especially in breakfast or buffet settings
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly phone etiquette for guest interactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with cleaning, bussing tables, and general restaurant sanitation practices
- Knowledge of dietary accommodations and food handling regulations
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Customer service orientation with a welcoming attitude towards guests of all ages
- Basic culinary skills including knife handling and meal preparation techniques are advantageous
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required
- Hospitality background including hotel or restaurant experience will help you excel in this role
