Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and communal spaces
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to uphold a polished appearance
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
- Adhere to hotel policies and standards for hygiene, safety, and customer service at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods and floor care equipment
- Experience with janitorial or custodial tasks in hospitality or commercial settings enhances performance
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
