Event Banquet Attendant

The Residence Inn Downtown Raleigh on Salisbury has a Rooftop Restaurant and two Banquet spaces that overlook Downtown.

We are looking for banquet servers who are capable of working in a fast-paced and team-friendly environment. Banquet servers must be able to handle taking food/drink orders of tables of any size at any given time. Proper food and drink serving etiquette are required, as is knowledge of pivot-point seating. Working knowledge of beer and wine is required. Banquet server’s duties and requirements include but are not limited to:

• Proper clean uniform must be maintained at all times
• Able to take multiple food/drink orders with 100% accuracy
• Must have a working knowledge of proper serving etiquette
• Must be able to carry trays of food/drinks of any size at any given time
• Must maintain clean working stations
• Able to carry out proper opening/closing cleaning procedures to completion
• Able to comply with all food safety procedures (Food Handlers Certificate is a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
