Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing a beach side hotel. The ideal candidate will be a sober self-starter with general handyman skills. Previous hotel experience a plus but will train the right person with a good attitude.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance in public areas and guest rooms.
- Complete maintenance repair orders in timely fashion
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with internal teams or external clients during maintenance tasks
Skills
- General all-around handyman skills
- Knowledge of drywall patching and simple plumbing
- Good communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work and general maintenance practices
- Customer service orientation with the ability to coordinate effectively with team members and clients
