Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Conduct laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance.
• Handle janitorial tasks including waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfection with attention to detail.
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy items or moving furniture to prevent injury while completing tasks efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their cleaning needs and preferences to deliver personalized service.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care methods, carpet cleaning techniques, and outdoor work experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other tools used in professional housekeeping.
• Ability to implement sanitation standards consistently while managing time effectively to complete daily tasks promptly.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Experience in handling cleaning detergents safely and understanding proper disposal methods for waste materials.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, outdoor work environments, and extended periods of standing or walking.
