Location: Residence Inn Bar (809 16th St Sw, Rochester, MN 55902)
Position: Bartender (tip eligible)
Pay: $17.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Shifts: Wednesday & Thursday, 3:45 PM – 11:00 PM; Friday & Saturday, 3:45 PM – 12:00AM
Employment Type: Part-Time with Full-Time opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold responsible serving practices by verifying guest age, and monitoring alcohol consumption.
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks using Micros POS
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring they feel valued and satisfied throughout their visit.
- Accurately process beverage sales (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
- Maintain proper cash handling and accountability throughout shift
- Assist in managing and tracking bar inventory, including counts and pricing checks
- Maintain full stock of items
- Keep bar area clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards
- Prepare for peak service periods to ensure efficient operations
- Complete all required cashier and transaction documentation
- Follow all Food & Beverage policies and compliance standards
- Support team operations and assist with additional duties as needed
- Maintain clean uniform and appearance
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, nightclub, or fine dining setting; banquet experience is a plus.
- Strong cash handling and basic math skills
- High attention to detail in transactions and inventory control
- Customer-focused with a professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry as needed
Additional Notes
- Must be comfortable engaging with guests in bar area
- Arrive on time and ready to support full shift operations
