- Repair or replace faulty components including motors, belts, wiring, switches, and valves with precision and safety in mind.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct welding repairs on metal structures or equipment as needed to maintain safety and functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs.
- Supervise or assist in facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, or general cleaning to support a safe working environment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
