Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry items (hotel linen and terry) are cleaned and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and terry in our hotel, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens, towels, and guest garments.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is kept in good working condition.
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of laundered items for easy retrieval.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
