Description

Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced Air Operations Planning Specialist to support the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) G3 Staff Section at Fort Benning, Georgia. This position provides expert coordination and administrative support for all Army air operations, airspace management, and aviation-related activities conducted by or coordinated through the MCoE G3. This is a full-time, on-site position contingent upon contract award.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of Army air operations planning and execution in support of MCoE G3 requirements.
  • Schedule air transportation requests, flight hours, and parachute operations through the Joint Air-to-Ground Integration System (JALIS); process all requests within a 24- to 48-hour turnaround.
  • Coordinate Joint Airspace Training Territories (JA/ATT) and Air Ground Integration activities with MCoE units, FORSCOM, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update air operations tracking databases; post all scheduling and coordination actions to MCoE G3 SharePoint within 48 hours of action completion.
  • Prepare military correspondence IAW AR 25-50 and TR 1-11, including memoranda, requests for airspace, and coordination notices.
  • Track parachute operation scheduling requests from MCoE and tenant units; coordinate deconfliction with installation airspace management.
  • Support joint airspace planning activities and represent MCoE G3 at JA/ATT conferences.
  • Maintain flight hour accountability records for MCoE-supported aviation assets.
  • Coordinate rotary-wing and fixed-wing support requests; prepare and track aviation support packages.
  • Maintain proficiency with scheduling systems, databases, and MCoE G3 SharePoint sites.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; two years of relevant experience may be substituted for one year of education at a 2:1 ratio.
  • Active SECRET security clearance, verifiable in DISS.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Army air operations, airspace management, or aviation coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience with JALIS or equivalent Army aviation scheduling systems.
  • Experience with joint airspace training territory coordination, JA/ATT processes, or Air Ground Integration.
  • Proficiency in military correspondence IAW AR 25-50.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Army SharePoint sites for document management and tracking.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously with strict 24- to 48-hour processing deadlines.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to interface professionally with military officers, NCOs, and civilian officials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior service in an Army aviation, airspace management, or G3 air operations role at battalion level or above.
  • Experience supporting a Corps, Division, or Brigade S3/G3 air section.
  • Familiarity with FORSCOM and TRADOC operational requirements.
  • Former Army 15A (Aviation Officer), 15D (Aircraft Powerplant Repairer), or comparable MOS; or 13F (Fire Support Specialist) with air coordination experience.

This is a non-personal services contract position. Contractor personnel are not Government employees and will identify themselves as contractor personnel in all communications. All contractor employees must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to beginning performance. Government will provide workspace, computers, and equipment. Telework is not authorized.
