This is a full-time overseas position in India and is contingent upon contract award.

The Aerospace Ground Equipment Maintenance Advisor serves as the principal technical advisor for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and sustainment of aerospace ground equipment (AGE) and ground support equipment (GSE) supporting the Indian Army's AH-64E Apache fleet. Drawing on the expertise of a former U.S. Army MOS 15H Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer, the advisor provides classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and mentorship to develop the Indian Army's ability to inspect, service, remove, replace, repair, prepare, clean, and store AH-64E AGE/GSE in accordance with U.S. Army maintenance doctrine and technical manuals.

Working directly with Indian Army maintenance personnel and leadership, the AGEMA supports the development of lesson plans, maintenance reference materials, and sustainable maintenance practices that enhance long-term operational capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor Indian Army personnel in the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and sustainment of AH-64E aerospace ground equipment and ground support equipment.
  • Conduct classroom instruction and hands-on practical demonstrations using U.S. Army maintenance standards and technical publications.
  • Advise on preventive maintenance, pneudraulic systems, diagnostics, equipment recovery, and repair procedures.
  • Assist in establishing maintenance programs, documentation processes, and the Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP).
  • Promote maintenance quality assurance, safety, equipment readiness, and accountability.
  • Develop lesson plans, training materials, and maintenance reference guides.
  • Coordinate with Indian Army leadership to improve maintenance operations and long-term sustainment.
  • Support the objectives of the USASATMO Foreign Military Sales mission through technical expertise and professional mentorship.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to leverage your U.S. Army aviation maintenance experience to develop allied military maintenance capabilities and strengthen the long-term readiness of the Indian Army's AH-64E Apache fleet. Employment is contingent upon contract award.
