We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse who enjoys working closely with patients and thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, compassionate, and able to work independently while delivering exceptional patient care.
ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Perform medication reconciliation
- Independently perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Administer injections (IM and SQ), including vitamin injections, hormone therapies, and prescribed medications
- Assist with in-office procedures
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, injections, and follow-up care
- Prepare laboratory specimens for processing
- Maintain exam rooms, medication inventory, and clinical supplies
- Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
Administrative Responsibilities
- Answer patient phone calls professionally
- Respond to patient portal messages
- Coordinate referrals, imaging, and laboratory testing
- Complete prior authorizations
- Process prescription refill requests
- Assist with scheduling and front office workflow when needed
- Maintain organized patient records
- Help ensure efficient daily clinic operations
Pay: $24.17 - $29.11 per hour
Work Location: In person
