Medical Scribe/Chiropractic Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a self-driven and friendly Medical Scribe/Chiropractic Assistant to join our growing chiropractic office! In this position, you will be responsible for accurately documenting patient visits in a timely manner, operating treatment equipment (training provided), preparing and administering nutritional injections per state regulations, educating patients on treatment plans and therapies, maintaining clean and organised treatment rooms, and supporting the front and back office work flow as needed. We would love someone that will to build relationships with our patients and someone who is willing to take charge of this position and make it theirs! Medical experience preferable.

- Assist physician in documenting patient visits, including medical histories, diagnoses and treatments.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately document patient symptoms, conditions, and treatment plans.
- Familiarize yourself with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and learn how to navigate them efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritising tasks to ensure timely completion of medical records.
- Collaborate with medical staff to build the practice and make processes more efficient.

Skills

• Basic knowledge in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Proficient in computer technology and willing to learn chiropractic software systems
• Personable and enjoys building personal relationships with patients
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and protocols
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced enviroment
• Excellent commmunication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
