Job Responsibilities
The Lead Clinician provides comprehensive clinical services within the Level 3.1 program, including conducting intakes, facilitating group and individual therapy, and developing personalized treatment plans. They ensure thorough documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinate care with external providers, and support clients’ recovery through job readiness assistance and relapse prevention strategies. The Clinician participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning, applying a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach to promote client safety, engagement, and successful treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts BPS intakes.
- Facilitates two weekly groups, each lasting 2.5 hours.
- Provides individual therapy sessions weekly or biweekly, tailored to client needs and treatment progression.
- Develops and updates individualized treatment plans.
- Completes comprehensive session notes for both individual and group therapy.
- Prepares Utilization Review (UR) documentation for insurance purposes.
- Coordinates care with external providers and professionals, including medical and legal contacts.
- Offers job-related support such as resume building, interview skills coaching, and new job assessments.
- Manages discharge planning and facilitates referrals when clients require alternative or higher levels of care.
- Engages in crisis intervention as needed to support client safety and stability.
- Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to review client progress and coordinate care.
- Ensures all documentation meets compliance and regulatory standards
