Position Overview

We are looking for an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a flexible, scheduled basis. This position is ideal for a technologist seeking supplemental hours, a predictable non-acute environment, or schedule flexibility without hospital shift demands. Daily exam volumes vary (0 to 18 chest X-rays/day) based on our group testing schedules, with shifts communicated in advance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality digital chest radiographs following standard occupational health protocols and ALARA guidelines.
• Verify patient identity, clinical history, and proper documentation in accordance with NFPA 1582/OSHA requirements.
• Operate digital X-ray equipment and PACS systems to transmit images efficiently to reading radiologists.
• Maintain complete documentation, logbook records, and radiation safety protocols required by North Carolina state regulatory bodies.
• Maintain clean, sanitized, and fully stocked X-ray rooms; report equipment anomalies promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certification: Active ARRT (R) certification in good standing.
• State Compliance: Full compliance with NC Radiation Protection Section requirements.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience operating digital radiography (DR/CR) systems. Outpatient or occupational health experience preferred.
• Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Skills: Efficient patient positioning, attention to detail in recordkeeping, comfortable using EMR and PACS software.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
